b) Great. Now you’re logged in, and we can create the repository and upload the application project files. Unzip the archive with the Envato purchase. Go to Github Desktop and click the “Create a new repository on your Hard Drive” button. Fill in the fields as shown in the screenshot below. You can write your own repository name and description. In the “Local Path” field, select the path where you will copy some files from the archive with your purchase the next step. Finally, click the “Create repository” button.
c) Right after this, click the “Publish repository” button – example is shown in the screenshot below. Do not make any changes in the confirmation window. This is how you publish your local repository on the Github site. Now you can go to https://github.com and see that a new repository has just appeared there. We have successfully created it and now we need to add the application project files to it.
d) Open the folder that was named as “Local Path” in the previous step. Copy the files from the GitHub archive folder with the purchase into this folder. Return to the GitHub Desktop program. You can see that the copied files have appeared in the left column – example is shown in the screenshot below.
